Hello,
we would like to inform you well in advance about an important change. After careful consideration and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, we have decided to discontinue the Finappie service. The system will remain fully operational until 31 December 2026, after which it will stay in read-only mode until the end of January 2027 and then be permanently shut down.
Thank you for using Finappie, we truly appreciate the trust you have placed in us. That is exactly why we are letting you know now, so that you have enough time for a smooth transition to another solution. We have made this decision primarily due to the economics of the project.
What this means for you:
- Until 31 Dec 2026 you can use Finappie without any restrictions, just as you do now.
- Please back up all your data in time (documents, invoices, reports and other records). You can find the export in Settings → Exports: click the Export to accounting button, select the period (we recommend the entire period since you started using Finappie) and click Create export. Shortly after, a new export of your documents will appear in the Exports section, which you can download via the three dots to the right of the file name.
- Plan your migration to another system so that you complete it before 31 Dec 2026. We recommend not leaving the export or the transition until the last days of the year.
- Until 31 Jan 2027 the system will then be in read-only mode, allowing you basic access to your data. After this date it will no longer be possible to log in and your data will no longer be accessible.
- If you have a prepaid subscription period beyond 31 Dec 2026, we will refund the proportional part to your original payment method within 14 days after that date. If you would like the amount refunded to a different account, please let us know at info@finappie.com.
Please note that you are legally required to archive your accounting documents for several more years, so please store them in a safe place.
